The IND (Immigration and Naturalisation Service) checks for many residence applications whether your income is high enough. Employees prove this with an employer’s declaration and payslips. Are you self-employed or a director-shareholder, or do you want to hire a highly skilled migrant as an employer? Then you need documents from a bookkeeper or accountant.

Tell us your situation — we advise which form the IND asks for and prepare the complete documentation.

Frequently asked questions

What does an IND statement cost?

An income statement for self-employed people (family reunification or extension) costs €800 excl. VAT, fixed fee. For sponsors of highly skilled migrants, self-employed residence applications and start-ups, you receive a fixed quote within 1 working day.

Which statement do I need for the IND?

That depends on your situation. If you are self-employed and want your partner or child to join you, or want to extend a permit, you submit form 7112 with a compilation report. If you want to become a recognised sponsor as an employer, the IND looks at the continuity and solvency of your company, for example through your annual accounts. If you apply for residence as a self-employed person, you need a substantiated forecast. Not sure? We advise free of charge.

What is form 7112?

Form 7112 is the IND appendix Verklaring omtrent inkomen zelfstandig ondernemer (statement of income for self-employed persons). You use it when you need to prove your income as an entrepreneur, for example for family reunification or an extension. A bookkeeper or accountant adds a signed compilation report to it. We complete the form for you, including the income calculation according to the IND method, and provide our accountant’s compilation report. You only need to sign it.

How recent does the statement need to be?

The IND assesses your income on the date of your application. Request the statement shortly before you apply, so the figures are up to date and match the required amount that applies at that moment.

What if my income is just below the requirement?

We check this in advance. If you are just below it, we discuss the options — sometimes additional assets, a guarantee or a different application ground can help. We give you honest advice.

Do you offer an express service?

Yes. For urgent applications, delivery within 2 working days is possible. Call us: +31 71 203 2446.

Are you part of the IND?

No. Financion is an independent accounting firm in Leiden and not part of the IND. You submit your application yourself via ind.nl and pay the fees directly to the IND. We provide the financial part: the income calculation, the completed form 7112 and our accountant’s report.

I don’t know which form I need — can I just call?

Of course. Call +31 71 203 2446 or fill in the form below. We analyse your situation and advise within 1 working day which statement the IND asks for in your case.
